Our technology is well-proven, safe and patient friendly. It is based on a thin noble metal coating firmly attached to the surface of medical devices, prevents bacteria from adhering and biofilm formation, which reduces the amount of healthcare associated infections significantly.
Healthcare associated infections (HAI) is a global threat, that can affect everyone when seeking care at a hospital. About 6 million people are affected every year and 150 000 of them die by an infection. More than half of the infections are caused by medical devices.
Bactiguard is a Swedish medtech company offering an effective and patient friendly solution for infection prevention.
Our patented technology has unlimited application potential.
We offer products preventing healthcare associated infections caused by medical devices for the urinary tract, respiratory tract and the bloodstream.
Everything you need to know about healthcare associated infections.
Every year millions of people are affected by healthcare associated infections, causing great patient suffering.
